Ben attends California State University, Sacramento and is a Communications major. Ben has remained very active in community theatre; he is currently in rehearsals for Altar Boyz, which opens March 5 at the 24th Street Theatre (Runaway Stage Productions). Ben was also in Footloose (Willard Hewitt) and Meet Me in St. Louis (Lon Smith, Jr.) Ben plans to audition for Sac State theatre productions in the future. Ben performed in CB's The Wiz (Scarecrow) and Pippin (Pippin) and was in Honors Chorale.
Rachel is a Music major with a concentration in Voice at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She is the vocalist in Jazz Band 1, the leading jazz band at Cal Poly, which performs at jazz festivals, concerts, and for swing dance events on the Central Coast. They will perform at the upcoming Cal Poly open house April 17. She is also a member of the University Singers and serves as lead alto for the ensemble. Rachel is pursuing several genres in music including classical voice, and she performs jazz, blues and folk with combos and often performs solo at open mics. Rachel continues to study piano and guitar and hopes to study music abroad at the University of London in her junior year.
Rachel performed in CB's Grease (Marty), The Wiz (Glinda) and Pippin (Catherine). She was also in Vocal Jazz and Honors Chorale.
Robert attends Massachusetts Maritime Academy and is majoring in Marine Engineering. He has stayed active in music and theater as a member of the Maritime Academy Choir and has done tech work for the Theater program. He is also in the Honor Guard and Drill Team and is thinking about joining the band as well.
Robert appeared in CB's The Whole Darn Shooting Match (Gordon), was co-tech director for Pippin and was in the tech crew on numerous CB productions. He was also in Vocal Jazz and Honors Chorale.
Tyler is a sophomore at Sacramento State. He is currently producing and writing songs for an album that he hopes to release this year.
Right now, he is focusing on a solo project in instrumental sequencing and also collaborative projects with Jaclyn Ruiz (Class of 2008) and Brad Tryon (Class of 2005).
Tavi is majoring in Music Education at California State University, Sacramento. He is currently in Chamber Choir and "C-SUS" Vocal Jazz Ensemble. C-SUS will be in the Monterey Jazz Festival in April. In fall 2009, Tavi performed in the Runaway Stage productions of Footloose (in the ensemble) and Le Miserables (Javert). He is also a cantor in the St. Francis of Assisi parish choir.
Tavi performed in CB's A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Fiddler on the Roof, Grease (Doody) Pygmalion (Colonel Pickering) and The Wiz (The Wiz), and was in Vocal Jazz and Honors Chorale.
Briana attends UC Berkeley majoring in Gender and Women's Studies. She was also a member of the UC Berkeley Women's Chorale. She was also involved with a group called Theatre for Charity. During Spring semester (2010) she will perform in the Vagina Monologues, a production that raises awareness to violence against women all over the world. Proceeds from the show will be used for several area organizations that support women in crisis situations.
Briana performed in CB's A Funny Thing..., The Hollow (the Maid), Fiddler on the Roof (Yente), Grease (Rizzo), The Wiz (Evillene), and was in Vocal Jazz and Honors Chorale.
Amanda graduates from American River College this spring with associate degrees in Psychology, Liberal Arts, Social Science and General Education, and will attend California State University, Sacramento in fall 2010 to major in Psychology and minor in Dance. Amanda performed in She Stoops to Conquer: The Mozart Musical at the Fair Oaks Theatre Festival, and was in the ensemble in ARC's production of Footloose (2009) as one of the main dancers. She also played Betty in Sure Thing and was in the ensemble in The Serpents' Tale in ARC's Ten Minute Play Festival (2009). She also performed in a fundraiser show to help support students attending the American Collegiate Theatre Festival (ACTF), a renowned annual theatre festival, which she will attend and perform in a scene for the Director's Competition. Amanda is Treasurer of the Theatre Arts Club at ARC and was Treasurer of the Improv Club at ARC.
As a third year dance student, Amanda is studying Jazz, Modern, Ballet and Tap at ARC where she also assists in teaching Modern Dance.
Amanda performed in CB's Grease as a lead dancer.
Bailey graduated from CSU Fullerton in 2008 with a BA in Communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism. She lives and works in Southern California where she is currently performing in Backwards in High Heels with the Fullerton Civic Light Opera. She has also performed in New Beginnings Cabaret at Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's, Holiday Follies and Best of Broadway for Tibbies Theatre, The Wild Party, A Little Night Music at Sacramento Music Circus, and Anything Goes for the University of Arizona Theatre. When Bailey is not in a musical production, she does extras work for various television and movies filmed in the Los Angeles area.
Bailey participated in Jazz Choir and Premiere Choir while at CB.
Megan graduated from USC in 2007, with a degree in Cultural Anthropology and a minor in Italian. She also studied in the USC Thelonius Monk School of Jazz, and was a member for three years of the USC Jazz Choir, as well as a member for three years in the USC Sirens, another performing choir. She also performed in musical theater productions at USC.
While at USC, she became the lead vocalist for Jazz Three-O, which performs jazz standards as well as original work. The group recorded its first CD about 18 months ago, which got wide play on Jazz radio stations around the country and Canada. In particular, KKJZ, the largest jazz station in Los Angeles played the CD regularly for several months. It is called "The Jazz Three-O" and is available on itunes as well as several other online music sales sites. They are currently working on their next CD, scheduled to be released in the next few months.
Jeremy graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2001 with a BA in Film, and then graduated from New York University in 2008 with a Master's in Film. He works for Global Film Initiative, a nonprofit organization that promotes cross-cultural understanding through cinema. Its five complementary programs support the growth of vibrant, global filmmaking communities and introduces audiences to the remarkable stories told in every corner of the world.
While at CB, Jeremy participated in Jazz Choir and Jazz Band.
Bobby attended California Institute of the Arts in Valencia after his graduation from Christian Brothers. After four years at Cal Arts, Bobby went to work for Pixar Animation Studios. The first movie he worked on, as an animator, was A Bug's Life in 1998. This was followed by work on Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and Cars, among others.
He is currently one of the Directing Animators on Toy Story 3, to be released in June 2010.
